1. Kudungga
Kudungga, is the first king of the Kutai kingdom. Based on the name, we can estimate that kudungga is an Indonesian original name. Before Hinduism entered, Kudungga was the chief of the region. The influence of Hindu religion, made this tribe change shape to become a kingdom.
2. Aswawarman
Aswawarman, is the son of King Kudungga. Based on his name, he is thought to have been a Hindu because the name "warman" comes from the Sanskrit language. In addition, this king was the founder of the dynasty so he was given the title wangsakerta which meant family formation. During his reign, he held an aswamedha ceremony, the ceremony for the release of horses with the aim of expanding the area of ​​authority. 3. Mulawarman
Mulawarman, the biggest king of the Kutai kingdom, even often equated Asuman, the Sun God.
